As a self taught artist, I paint a variety of subjects - from landscapes to figurative - using my favourite medium of watercolour.

I enjoy the stimulus of local art groups to improve my technique and individual style. For many years I lived in the Thames Valley and reveled in the company of like minded painters in Maidenhead, Berkshire. I now live in Winchester, Hampshire, an area steeped in history which offers an ideal environment for sketching and painting. I'm a member of two art groups: "Winchester Urban Sketching" and " Winchester Art Club".

My work is often inspired by visits to Europe with France and Italy being particular favourites. I've included separate galleries devoted to the above and further details about their websites may be found in the "Links" section.
